Hello, my name is Amy Flores and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently licensed in Tennessee. For the last 5 years, I have been helping children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic position, but I have 10 years of experience working with behavior and social/emotional challenges. I do utilize a strengths-based, client-centered, or a solution-focused approach, but I incorporate other interventions, to facilitate desired goals and provide opportunities for healing and/or support (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, music therapy, etc.). I have experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, ADHD, behavioral and Couples/family challenges.
I appreciate this step you are making and I take this search for support very seriously. I believe we all have unique strengths, but sometimes life challenges our belief in ourselves and we doubt our capabilities. I am here to help you recognize those strengths again and help you get to the path you have been wanting. You have already done the first step and I would be honored to help with the next steps.
If given the opportunity, I feel we can build a trusting rapport, which would provide you with an environment and a new hope that can help you accomplish your therapeutic goals.
I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with Amy. She is very easy to talk to and listens very well. She has very good suggestions. I am looking forward to more time with her.
Great Listener and understands her clients needs!
It has been a great way to get help!
I’ve only had 2 sessions with Amy and I already love her! Therapy was something I didn’t want to pursue before due to being afraid of having to finally open up about past events and Amy makes that incredibly easy and is a very comforting person. I leave our sessions already feeling like I can better understand and deal with a specific event we talked about.
Amy is great and I so very much appreciate her help.
Amy has a welcoming personality, and is a great listener. Very professional, and I would recommend her.
Amy is very compassionate. I like that she asks questions, it lets me know she is listening. I’ve only been seeing her twice but she’s already helped me feel better. I couldn’t recommend her more.
In the shirt time we have known each other, Amy has been very attentive and communicative. I appreciate her kind approach and look forward to working with her more!
Amy had been fantastic so far, and incredibly flexible and patient with my crazy schedule!
Amy is kind and uplifting. She listens thoroughly, finds ways to be relatable, and points out the good things you should see yourself (especially when you view those things as negative).
She is down to earth and gives you her full attention.
Amy is great. She listens and is able to reword the mumble I feel I am saying into cohesive points. She regularly helps navigate the layers of my thinking and gives me goals to focus on. Amy has great rapport, is constantly taking notes which helps reframe each session, and I feel comfortable sharing the gritty thoughts and insecurities, as well as successes
I like Amy she is very clear for what my needs are and addresses them in a clear matter
Amy is insightful in her counseling. She is well prepared and works hard to get her advice right. She is also extremely generous with her time. She has helped me with my issues in the short time we've been working together. I recommend Amy as a counselor highly.
Amy really understands me and my needs. She pays attention and notes down key points to share with me and question me. She truly cares about me like a best friend.
