Welcome
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience working with teens, adults, and families. Throughout my career, I have partnered with individuals and families to explore behaviors, emotions, skills, and patterns in their lives through many lenses and therapeutic styles. I have found that my honest, compassionate and straightforward personal style has allowed me to join clients and explore together where they are, where they have been and what they need to move forward as the unique individual they are. Loss, anxiety, depression, transitional life stress, relationships, attachment, and family dynamics as well as crisis management make up much of my experience and expertise.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Graduate degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. I am licensed in the State of Delaware in Clinical Social Work. I have worked in schools, grief centers, and hospice services. I also have experience with teens navigating the foster care system and residential care. On a personal note, I love to run, bike and hike. Anything outdoors and strenuous!
I am open to communication in the form that works best for you. I am available in the afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
