Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Sarah is empathic, understanding and nurturing. I often feel misunderstood and judged by the people in my life and that I don't really have a soft place to land. I feel safe with expressing my thoughts and emotions to Sarah without feeling like I'm being too sensitive or like I'm judged for the choices I make or the relationships I keep.

She gives me the reassurance I need, and is helping me learn to be more compassionate towards myself. She's easy to open up to, and I'm always met with kindness when I come to her with any issue, big or small. Dr. Walker is very caring and patient. She listens and adjusts what she does to what is needed or what I would want to talk about. In many cases, I went into sessions unprepared with topics to discuss and we just slowly uncovered what was actually bugging me. I'm very happy to have worked with her and will want to come back to her if I ever need more help.
