I am a doctoral level Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I graduated with a master's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2005 and my Doctorate in Social Work in 2023. I am currently teaching at a local university, but spent 20 years working with a variety of individuals from the very young to the aged. My clients have dealt with a wide range of issues including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse and trauma, addiction, and codependency. I am passionate about helping others and always feel privileged to be able to walk with someone on their journey. We are all human beings with life experiences that shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us, but there comes a point where want to break free from those past experiences and create a new vision.
I am a relational therapist and have been trained in many different treatment modalities including EMDR, DBT, and CBT. I tend to utilize interventions and techniques grounded in Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral therapies depending on the clients' individualized needs. I believe everyone has the power within themselves to create the life they want, sometimes it just takes a little support and guidance to help us start moving in the right direction. I would love to be that support for you!

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Kathryn is an important part of my mental health and I am grateful for her support in helping me find my path.
Kathryn has been amazing to work with. She listens, reaches out if I’m not that active, and challenges me when needed. I felt very comfortable and understood talking with her when I was stuck or in a low place!
Kathryn is an active listener. You can see in her expression as she listens that she is truly trying to understand everything that you are emoting. It also comes across in the productive questions she asks you. She is very much an active therapist--she wants to help you find answers and solutions to your problems. Most importantly, she makes you feel at ease like an awesome auntie would. I highly recommend her as a counselor.

I've never been so happy with my therapy situation before. I've found someone who can work with me not just with my mental state, but also with my schedule. Not only is Kathryn great at working with your timing, but also I appreciate the gentleness, openness, and positivity of Kathryn's approach. The help I've been given was life changing.

Kathryn is the real deal. Not only is she thoroughly pleasant, but incredibly good at what she does: knowledgeable, perceptive and immeasurably helpful. A good clinical psychologist like Kathryn is worth their weight in gold and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
