Ashna has been a wonderful resource for me. Her ability to listen but also play devils advocate to get me to think has been very helpful. She lets me go at my own pace and doesn't push any particular topics or that we have to do things a certain way - this has been very helpful for me to feel comfortable enough to start to deal with the things I have going on. I would highly recommend her to my friends or family.

What could you achieve if nothing was standing in your way?
You struggle with your relationships with others (family, significant other, friends, coworkers) where you don't feel heard or respected. You feel you're not taken seriously and are dismissed. You feel you're not seen as an equal or that you have much to offer. This leaves you feeling frustrated. Maybe you feel like crying, maybe you feel like screaming, or maybe you feel like crawling under the covers and hiding from the world. While the steps to reach our goals are simple, they are not always easy. It's our mindset that often gets in the way and tells us that we can't do something. Sometimes we are so overwhelmed and don't know in which direction to go.
You have a lot of demands placed on you as a woman, a daughter, a sister, a mother, a partner, a friend, and a worker. As women we take on a lot. No doubt you're struggling under all the pressure. I'm sure you feel you struggle to cope at times, drowning in a never ending to do list, feeling stuck, trapped, no sense of control, and having difficulty managing everything. Many women struggle to find their voice to help them get their needs met. We are often taught at a young age to be helpers, to be 'ladylike', not to say or do anything that will upset others. Where has this left us? We don't get our needs met and if we don't do so for ourselves, then who will?
Allow me to help you find your voice and set boundaries with others. I will help you do this by making you the author of your own story, helping you take back control, empower you, and provide you with the necessary tools to help you succeed. It's all within each of us, it's just a matter of finding it. We don't always know how to do so alone and it is ok to reach out for help and support. Your day to day life experience can be radically different. You can wake up each morning and look forward to the day ahead. I don't promise that it will be easy, but it will be worth it.
Change IS possible.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Ashna Wallace is a great counselor she is nice and understands my issues.
She is very helpful counselor, she try at the beginning understand you in the first few sessions and after she has comprehensive view, she gives the rightful support. I really appreciate her support to me
Ashna was always very caring and easy to talk to! I really appreciated the time with her and would definitely recommend her as a therapist! :-)
I've only had a couple of live sessions with Ashna so far. But knowing she is there has been such an emotional boon. Knowing I can drop a message even if I just need to get something off my chest has been immense in my situation. I was really not sure whether I would do more than 4 weeks of counselling (mostly due to monetary concerns) but in a short time, I already know I want to stick around. Ashna has been amazing. Patient, kind and considerate. She understands what I have come to counselling for (a safe outlet space due to personal situations) and encourages it.
Ashna was very understanding and empathetic. She knew exactly how to approach topics and is also very patient and seems very experienced. I would recommend Ashna to my friends and family.
Ashna is wonderful! She kept me calm and helped me look at things with a different light that I needed and was missing!
She is awesome
Ashna understands your concerns and listens with an open mind. She is always there to help you and will make adjustments to her schedule to accommodate you. She is amazing!
I love Ashna! She is very easy to speak with and I understand her advice.
Ashna is very nice and profesional and is very good at listening to my concerns.
I found Ashna after not really finding what I was looking for in the last counselor. Betterhelp promptly matched me with Dr. Wallace and even though I've only had a few sessions with her, I feel like it's been more helpful to me than any online or in-person counseling has ever been for me in the past. Ashna listens to your concerns and helps you work through them and find better ways to cope. She has helped me with my self-confidence, drinking problems, and anger issues only within the three sessions I've had with her.
Ashna has been incredibly helpful for me. She's provided an encouraging space that lets me open up and talk about things at a pace that I'm comfortable with. I always leave my sessions with a new perspective on whatever I'm going through at that particular moment. One of the sweetest people I've talked to!
Ashna, was very understanding in what I needed help with. She helped point out factors that were effecting my mood and productivity that I didn't realize were important. We came up with a plan and other options for how I could manage to be motivated again. It is still a work in progress but Ashna provided me with a guide to get started. She also reminded me that making a plan to be motivated again does not necessarily mean my motivation will look as it did before COVID-19. Lastly, she has a very calming understanding voice.
Ashna Wallace gave me the support I needed as I went through some very difficult situations. She helped me to put things in perspective and sort out my thoughts.
I feel that Ashna has the depth of understanding multiple concerns that are top of mind to her clients. She was quick to realize that I had a lot coming into therapy and I appreciated her support around how I was best to navigate all of this. Thanks for lining us up together.
