Hello, I am Dr. Ralph Levinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 27 years. I am also a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer. I earned my Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University and received my Masters degree in Social Work from Barry University. I earned my Bachelor degree in Science from The Ohio State University. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and I have been the School Social Work representative for the Broward Chapter of Florida Social Workers.
My areas of specialization include Bereavement/Grief work, Parenting/ Family therapy and Divorce Adjustment. I also work with Blended Families, Step-families, Adjustment disorders, Anxiety, mood disorders and a variety of other problems experienced by adults, and the elderly population.
I utilize a combination of traditional Psychotherapy, Solution-focused (brief) therapy, Family, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with experiential techniques that are enjoyable where the clients are active participants in their own treatment. I provide a safe, comfortable and non-threatening environment for those seeking help which enables them to open up and express their feelings, thoughts and emotions.
I am an avid film fan, love all genre's of music, enjoy playing and watching sports and on an occasion I enjoy playing video games.

He's great!
Dr. Levinson helped me through some difficult relational anxieties. His patience, understanding, and guidance helped me understand the internal struggles I was facing so that I could see more clearly what was driving my emotions. He listened and asked questions that lead me to uncover more about myself and my motivations. I highly recommend Dr. Levinson!

Dr. Levinson is a great counselor who has been very understanding, patient and helpful with assisting me in recognizing where my anxieties come from and helping me overcome them. He has also been helping me gain confidence in myself which I have problems with.
Dr. Levinson has been incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our sessions. Going above and beyond, he would send helpful worksheets and always message me on the weekends during his time off to check on me and see how I was doing and feeling after our last conversation and in between sessions. He always made himself available and provided far superior service than other counselors I've had in the past.
Dr. Levinson provided excellent counseling, and was very easy to talk to. This helped me to open up in therapy, which was a completely new thing for me. He was great at listening to my concerns, and always provided means to path forward. I highly recommend him!
