My name is Cory Sasloglou. I have been working in the field of counseling and social work since 2017. In the first three years of my career, I worked with the homeless, low-income, and at-risk youth populations in the city of Miami. I have been working full-time in private practice since the beginning of 2021. I work with clients managing a myriad of issues at varying levels of severity. I believe true growth and healing comes in moments of loving authenticity. We often grow up in environments that push and pull us in so many directions. The expectations can be overwhelming. We feel like we don’t know who we are or where we’re going. The feeling of security we’re looking for can be found within our cores. In choosing to be authentic to ourselves, and listening to our own needs, we can find the strength to take responsibility for our lives. My number one priority in therapy is creating the sense of safety we need to be truly vulnerable. I work diligently with you to gain an understanding of where your concerns and fears come from, assist you to find meaning in the events of your life, and guide you in defining your authentic self. If you can commit to reconnecting with your core, I am committed to guiding you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Cory is kind, respectful and professional. I feel like he really takes the time to get to know me and understand me.
Corey has helped me through some of my challenges. He's a really good listener gives really good advice you feel like you're talking to a real person. He really knows what he's doing so I feel comfortable talking to him about anything and everything.
Great prospective, he offered me a different way to view things. Very helpful and his background helps. Would definitely recommend
A real person to talk to about my problems, betterhelp did not miss!
I'm often skeptical of therapy. With that said, Cory has been very kind and helpful. He has made me feel very comfortable saying whatever I'm thinking. When he helps me work through my thoughts, he helps me strategize how to be stronger and healthier the next time I encounter them. His strategies and ideas really work.
Cory is like having a friend to talk to. He listens and gives back informative feedback to how I am feeling. I look forward to our sessions, gives me a place to talk about my problems.
Over the past few years, Cory has helped me navigate and confront a very broad range of problems that come with entering new life chapters. He has always been available, considerate, and offers very constructive guidance for understanding the things around me and my own interpretations of them. I'd recommend Cory to anyone, but particularly males in the 25-40 range who may feel they do not have a support network, outlet, or otherwise professional to talk to and discuss their development. Cory is like having a great friend to talk about that funny movie with, but they will also do everything they can to help you interpret your life's challenges and move forward in a constructive, positive manner. 2020 - present has been quite the time, and I can say with full confidence that Cory's help was more than valuable — almost essential — in navigating it all.
Cory is very understanding in what I am trying to accomplish with therapy. He also challenges my thought process in a positive way in order to improve my weaknesses. He provides a different perspective about certain situations are actions that help me think of things in a different manner. Looking forward working with him in the coming future.
Highly recommend
Cory is a very good listener and has a skill of being insightful on trauma and resentment or anything that your dealing with. He’s emotionally intelligent and helped me find answers.
Tremendous! Corey was a huge help during this summer during some really tough obstacles in my life. Today, he continues to offer his wisdom, advice, and solutions to my unique and everyday problems. I strongly recommend him to anyone.
One of the best social workers/therapists I’ve ever spoken to. Corey is super nice and understanding but also realistic and knows how to relate to younger people like me. He’s helped me a ton through our almost two years of working together and I would recommend him. especially to someone who feels like they haven’t “clicked” with a therapist yet.
Cory is a phenomenal therapist. He is extremely intelligent regarding his craft, but takes his time to explain complex feelings and concepts into language that anyone can understand. Cory talks to you like a friend would which makes it far easier to open up and digest the experience. 10/10 would recommend.
Wonderful person who listens and provides good feedback to help navigate emotions and feelings. Helped me figure out a big cause for me bottling everything up
Cory has been awesome. Conversation flows easily and I’ve been able to do a lot of self reflection through my sessions with him!
From what I know mr.cory is everything I was looking for, someone different. Not here to shelter to much but to push for a difference in life and for that he has my respect.
So far may experience has been great. He speaks to you like a human and not in just a purely “professional” manner which is what therapy should be. We have a conversation that’s real and doesn’t feel like previous therapy experiences where I feel like it’s been ‘here’s my life story’ from me, and ‘here’s some advice’ from them. It feels like we’re really digging deep about so much and excited to see where it continues. :)
Cory is an amazing guy and is very knowledgable in his field.
I appreciate you very much, Cory
Cory is amazing. I was a little hesitant when I was assigned a male therapist, I requested a female therapist but thought I’d give it a go. I’m so glad I did. Talking to Cory is like talking to a good homie that you’ve known forever, while also having a very professional experience. He’s done more for me than a lot of other therapists have in the past. Thank you Cory!!!!
He was down to Earth and had a good perspective on my emotional situations.
Cory has been helping me over these past few months with a number of issues. He is able to hear me and understand what I am bringing up to him. His suggestions and thoughts are always spot on. I tend to have a lot to talk to him about and Corey is able to address them in that session. First time I’ve had a male counselor and I am glad I chose him as he brings another perspective to our conversations.
Very insightful. Gives excellent feedback and assists in the work of therapy. Also continually bringing up recent research/techniques that are directly applied to my circumstances/situation. Would definitely recommend.
Cory has been there for me and I feel he is really able to understand my problems and the stressful situations I might have or might about to be going through. I feel that I can express my problems openly and recieve guidance and assistance, not only as a therapist but as a close friend.
Cory has been excellent
Cory does a great job as my therapist. While his expertise is clear, he feels approachable and relaxed in conversation. His advice and guidance has greatly improved my life!
Cory is ideal for those seeking any kind of self improvement, healing, or closure. He is highly attentive and provides insight to issues that have gone unaddressed or misunderstood. He is kind and easy to communicate with, not cold or detached which is all too common in therapy. He maintains an open and flexible schedule, and a stress free environment.
Cory is excellent at drilling down on specific issues and identifying concrete strategies to change thoughts and behaviors. Very insightful and helpful. Would definitely recommend him.
Cory’s great! My sessions with him like talking to a friend. When I don’t have one specific thing to talk about or end up going off on a tangent, he always asks the right questions to bring me back to the point. I value his insight and ability to notice things that I haven’t yet seen in myself and others. He has flexible scheduling too, which is really helpful.
I have only had 3 sessions with Cory and already I feel as though a weight has been lifted. He is genuine and leads the conversation in a productive manner. I’m happy I found him.
Cory is helping me get through the most difficult time in my life. He has offered some great tools and advice for each situation we discuss. He’s patient and listens without judgement. I look forward to talking to him each week, although it can be really difficult to be completely transparent at times, he makes me feel like there’s no rush or judgement. I highly recommend him regardless of your situation.
He was very helpful.
Cory has taken time to understsnd where I'm coming from and where I want to go and has been a great sounding board with solid insights. I look forward to continuing my time with him as we have some common ground to make discussions a little more relatable. Frankly, I jumped into having open discussions although I was a little hesitant in seeking any form of counseling. I just made up my mind and went with it and so far, I'm glad I did and look forward to continuing sessions with Cory.
With only working with Cory for 2 weeks, going on 3 weeks, I can already feel a breath of fresh air, and a will and drive to keep pushing forward.
