Hello and welcome.
It takes courage to prioritize your wellness so I applaud you for taking those first steps. I would be honored to be part of that journey with you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia and have been working in my profession for eight years, with four years as a therapist. I have a diverse array of experience and have worked with individuals seeking services for a variety of needs. I have worked in an inpatient hospital setting, a mental health clinic, a therapeutic group home for teens, a refugee resettlement office, as well as other positions that provided me with experience to help you tackle your obstacles. I have worked with individuals with concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, diversity issues, and trauma. I also have special training working with Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and various personality disorders.
I like to work together with individuals to come up with a strategy to obtain optimal wellness. My main goal is to empower individuals so that they can start to see their strengths and leverage them to overcome obstacles. I am a big fan of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy but also utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a variety of mindfulness based strategies.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
