Welcome, and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Corliss Ivy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, with over 18 years of experience caring for people. I work closely with people who want to take the best care of themselves as possible, and identify barriers that interfere with their ability to create the life they want.
I have an bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a master's degree in Counseling & Human Services from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. I celebrate clients' unique strengths and motives towards self-care. While I integrate the latest findings in psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal neurobiology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness, the core of my work center around partnering with clients to build a therapeutic relationship where they feel safe, supported, and deeply valued.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I have been through quite a few therapists but Corliss is the best one I’ve had. She listens carefully, validates you & gives insightful views on what can help. She has already helped me in the short time we have worked together and I look forward to our therapy sessions.
Corliss has been great to me. She listens to what I have to say and never judge me for anything. For being my first counselor, I feel greatful for having her. Coyld not ask for a better person to listen and read about me.
