I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (LPC) with experience working with clients of various backgrounds. In a variety of settings, I've had the privilege of assisting clients across the lifespan experiencing depression and anxiety. I've also had the opportunity to work with clients seeking to improve their stress management, motivation, and emotional regulation.

My style blends cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and client-centered therapies in a culturally sensitive and supportive relationship. I believe successful therapy is predicated on a strong working alliance based on trust, openness, and mutual commitment. Your openness in sharing anything you feel or think in our sessions is vital. Collaboratively, we will establish a treatment plan with personalized goals to assist you in achieving progress as quickly as possible. Throughout the therapy process, I welcome and will actively seek your feedback to ensure our work together is tailored to meet your unique needs to your complete satisfaction.

Beginning a therapy process can feel overwhelming, but rest assured that I am here to support you every step of the way. I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Scott has been instrumental in developing and aiding my ability to create proactive actions, objective reflective self evaluation, and balanced rationale to my dynamic day to day life. His approach to our conversations is supportive; and challenging when needed. This method ,I feel, has enhanced my self-awarenes without being overly self critical. It is a pleasure working with him.

Very good experience with Scott as my therapist in the last few months. A very kind and patient listener, who also suggest practical steps on how to improve and take charge of your own mental health. Overall he has been very helpfull in improving the stability of my life

I've only had one video session with Scott but he seems like a good guy. Its been very easy for me to open up to him partly because I'm really trying to make changes in my life but also because he is a good listener. He has made me feel comfortable and helped me realize that the things I think about are not just something only I think about and the issues and the way I think are very common and just part of being a human. I look forward to continuing the therapy process and hope to finally fix the things that have been bothering me for most of my life. I would defiantly recommend Scott to others.

I began working with Scott a few months ago and he has helped me enormously in coming to terms with insecurities I was feeling, and how I can implement the changes in my life to become the person I want to be. Scott is an excellent listener, he is comforting, non-judgemental and understanding, and has a great ability to show you alternative perspectives. I had never spoke to a therapist before speaking with Scott, and I was unsure going into our first session. I quickly became relaxed and I found it surprisingly easy to open up to him. I would recommend Scott to anyone who is hesitant about therapy, and anyone who has past experiences or uncertainties about themselves which they need to gain a better understanding on.

Kind Scott, has been a huge help when I was dealing with really tough anxious and sad emotions. He took time to read and listen to me, sent me very, very, helpful worksheets to help me to gently challenge my anxious thoughts and to help me start developing a more gently balanced thought process. As I'm from a different country/nationality he took time too, to understand my background so as to continue to help me better. I'm truly really really so so sooooo grateful! :-)
