Hello!
My name is Catherine Chapman. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oklahoma. I earned my Masters of Social work from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. I have been a practicing social worker for 10 years and, additionally, am certified in EMDR therapy which I have been utilizing in my practice since 2021. I have experience working in the hospital and medical field to help patients and their families to find the support and resources they need to get through whatever difficult life situation they may be facing. I feel this experience has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges people may face throughout their lives and the various reactions they may have, whether it be anger, grief, depression, or something else, while processing their own health concerns or those of a loved one. I realize that everyone faces these struggles either in their own lives or through someone close to them and that they can be very difficult to comprehend and accept at times. My goal as a therapist is to help people overcome these situations by providing them a better understanding and tools to guide them through these hard times.
My methods focus on using the Strength Based Perspective, Person-in-Environment Perspective, EMDR, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe you are the expert in your own life and I hope to help you recognize the strengths in yourself while offering support and a non-judgmental sounding board. I will take our time together seriously and give you my full attention to best help you.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very professional and has a gentle way of making suggestions. She has the ability to ask questions that lead to a better understanding of the issue. Love that about her. Thank you
Catherine is amazing and has helped me with some extremely hard life choices. They have provided expert advice and have wonderful listening skills. The tools and practices they have provided are wonderful. It has truly benefited me in best way!
She is an amazing therapist! I was not a special case, but for general help through life issues she was wonderful.
Catherine never implies that I have failed to do something she suggested. Instead, she will say it's hard, what would it take for you to ... Usually, we come up with a suggestion that sounds plausible and sometimes I then do them.
I think Catherine does amazing work! She is super understanding and does a great job of helping me put things into perspective and repositioning myself when I am overwhelmed. I highly recommend working with her!
It's hard for me to open up and trust people, but she is just a very genuine kind person, that it's easy to trust her and talk
I have benefited greatly from her counsel. I would recommend her for anyone.
Catherine is amazing so far! I’ve only had a couple meetings with her so far but she seems very understanding and knowledgeable.
She has been great at helping me figure out my issues even when I don’t know what they are some times. She has given me lots of helpful tips.
Catherine is amazing! She is understanding and wanting to help, judgement free.
Greatly appreciate Catherine’s thoughtful, respectful approach with key insights and kindness
Catherine is easy to talk to. She’s been a great listener and understands where I’m coming from and has offered useful insight into understanding myself and my approach to things.
Catherine is truly wonderful. While she is extremely professional and articulate, she is also very down to earth, relatable, kind, and when appropriate humorous in a very healing way. I’m so grateful to have been matched with her during the delicate time of transitioning into motherhood as she has also been there and has help weave in common experience with hearing and working through what I’m going through
She's awesome, and very kind
I appreciate that she. He is in on me and is available for messaging in between appointments.
She's so much more amazing than I have the energy to write about. A+ 5*experience
I’ve been talking to Catherine for a few weeks now and she’s listened, suggested amazing coping mechanisms I would’ve never been able to come up with on my own, and has really focused on the trauma I’m trying to work through. I’ve been in therapy for most of my adult life and she’s the only one who’s suggested things that actually work for me. I appreciate her so much.
I loved the support wile I was trying to figure out myself and family Thank you
Hands down an amazing therapist, she is very thorough and very helpful.
Catherine is exceptionally kind, compassionate, and insightful. She’s a wonderful listener when I need her to be, but she also helps guide me when I need insight and reframing.
Catherine has been very helpful.
Catherine has helped me view my concerns in a different light by guiding me from a different perspective. She's given me exercises and tools to help me through daily life and the extra tough times. She's direct and understanding. Truly appreciate her and all she's done for me (and my friends I've shared my experiences with).
Ms Chapman is very good to work with. She listens and has helpful feedback. I am very happy with her skill and sense of presence during our sessions. Finding a therapist you like feels like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack. I found the needle with her.
Catherine is really nice, and kind. She really listens to me and talks through my problems with me
It is hard to find a good therapist, and Catherine Chapman is very good at this job. I am getting everything I need out of therapy. She listens, hears, and interprets what I am saying. She validates me, but at the same time she knows when to probe and get me thinking. I get to steer the conversation, but I never feel like I am talking to a blank wall. She cares.
Thank you
Best counselor I’ve had.
Catherine is a beautiful soul, a great listener, really open minded, and a caring therapist. Despite my lack of communication at times, she’s always stuck with me and make sure that I am learning and growing to the best of my abilities. Would highly recommend her for anyone that wanted to pursue therapy
Catherine Chapman was a great therapist. She was very helpful with bringing out things I wasn’t able to on my own.
She listens and provides options for solutions.
Two appointments and she is already asking questions leading to my understanding some of my struggles. She listens and is leading me to figuring out some of my behaviors and the reasons or causes. Really glad to have found her.
She’s very perceptive and helps me prioritize my life.
Catherine is great! A great listener and makes it easy to talk to her. Only a couple sessions in, but already feel good about the experience.
Catherine is a wonderful person and wonderful therapist, I am admittedly inconsistent with any relationship, and i want to look for an inperson therapist because online isn't the same
Catherine is very professional and understanding. The whole experience was very helpful and pleasant.
She is great so far. She does make you feel like you are important when you feel like you aren’t. She gives great advice as well on trying to succeed and help you feel better.
Not only is Catherine well certified and education in this field. They are very understanding and kind every time I reach out to them. They are the first therapist I’ve had in awhile that I’ve truly enjoyed talking to and confiding in.
