I am an independent consultant and counselor with more than 35 years of experience in health care, counseling and coaching. I obtained my Master’s in Social Work, specializing in Interpersonal Practice, from the University of Michigan in 1983. Throughout my career I’ve worked with thousands of individuals dealing with wide ranging concerns including health and stress related problems, crisis management, anxiety, depression, grief, anger issues, relationship and family problems, work related and career challenges. I consider my work with individuals to be a great privilege and I take pride in the ability to help people to feel very comfortable, and to feel supported no matter what concerns they may be struggling with at the time. I am very solution oriented and practical in my approach, recognizing that for many people, short-term counseling is all that is necessary. Sometimes we just need someone on the outside of our situation to help us look at things from different angles so that we can identify all possible solutions and/or opportunities. Despite my many years of experience, I know that people are unique individuals and I take nothing in the work I do for granted. Doing my very best for each individual I work with is critical to me.
Thank you for your consideration and please contact me if you believe I can be of assistance.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Pam is a wonderful compassionate caring therapist. and the world is lucky to have her in it
Pam is kind, thoughtful and insightful and gives thought provoking feedback that helps at the root of thinking to help. I have only been seeing her for a few weeks but it's already made a huge impact in my life.
A great therapist is hard to find and the world needs more of them like Pam! Kind, attentive, professional and, above all, caring. Highly recommend!
Pam is excellent at finding true points in issues despite there being chaos in the mind of the patient presenting the issue. She is personable and makes me feel very at ease right off the bat. She came up with great solutions to my concerns to trial and listens to how the process worked for me that week.
Pam has been the absolute best therapist I could have ever asked for. Her insight, advice, and perspective have helped me identify what is causing me distress in my life and ways to change it. Every session has been productive and I walk away with strategies to improve my life and relationships. She looks at problems in a very rational way and provides concrete steps to work through those problems. Pam is also incredibly professional and I never felt judged or nervous to bring up any topic. Working with Pam was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Been pleased, nice ti be heard and given advice from a level minded therapist
Pam is incredible and love her thoughtful, timely responses.
Pam had helped me more ways than one in our short time together. She has helped me feel more confident at work, with relationships I have and myself! I truly enjoy my weekly conversations with her and can’t thank her enough for the continued support!
My mind had been running in circles at a million miles a minute and I was only focusing on the negative. Pam listened and offered me a few tips and exercises to help pull me out of my own ring of fire. We came up with a plan that held me accountable, something I was struggling to do, and this fostered a new mindset and guided me on my path of realization, expression, acceptance and healing. Her help has been invaluable. If you do decide to give this a shot, like everything else in life, it is important to take a little time and find the right counselor for you. They give you that option which I greatly appreciate. Remember this takes work, but if you are here then you already know and are looking to make positive changes. Pam, Thank you so much for everything!
Pam is so easy to talk to and she asks all the right questions. I really appreciate her gentle nature accompanied with her many ideas to get me feeling better about myself. We’ve only had three sessions, but I feel extremely comfortable with her and I’m grateful to have her to confide in and work with. I always look forward to our sessions.
Pam is a fantastic counselor! She listens, is very polite, funny and is incredibly respectful of me and some issues I’ve brought up, and helps unpack them with you before giving some small exercises to do and thoughts to carry with you and ponder throughout your week. After just a few sessions I feel like she does care about me, my progress and everything I bring up in our sessions. I don’t think you’ll have a single regret if you work with Pam!
Great chemistry and sound advice
Pam has been an exceptional counselor to me. She listens, is there for me, encourages me and always gets back to me with an uplifting and reassuring message. I'm grateful that she is there for me when I just need someone to talk to and to simply listen to me.
