Hello, My name is Rachel DiPippo and I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families for 15 plus years in a variety of settings. Presenting concerns have included, but not limited to, a history of trauma, substance abuse, negative self talk, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, marriage relationship problems, interpersonal relationship problems, anger, eating disorders, coping with life changes, parenting issues and stressors, ADHD, and a myriad of other struggles. Clinical approach will depend on the needs of the client and goals are made as a collaborative effort. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Client Centered therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral techniques.

I see my role as a therapist to come alongside clients in their journey of healing, encouraging and motivating them to open themselves to explore the drivers to unwanted behavior, thoughts, and emotions, and discovering what they can do to create the desired change. My goal is to create a safe space for a client to share what may be holding them back from living in freedom emotionally. In a supportive and compassionate way, I want to help people also obtain the tools they need in order to get where they want to be. I look forward to the privilege of walking that journey with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Rachel is very comfortable to talk to and I’ve never felt judged in any way. She listened as long as I want to to talk if I need it and helps me realize what direction I need to get to so I can make better choices and actually put her methods to real world situations. Can’t wait til my next session!

This is my first time trying therapy and I immediately felt comfortable talking to Rachel in the first session. She is a great listener and is quick to respond, often providing me with worksheets from BetterHelp and her own frameworks, too. She is communicative via messaging during the day which is nice because it can be hard to recall all the relevant thoughts and feelings during our weekly video call. I am pleased with Rachel as my first therapist and the BetterHelp platform, too.
