I am a clinician of over 20 years experience, once named one of the best therapists in America by Psychology Today, who works with children, adults and families. I work well with a client who appreciates a skilled and common sense, interactive approach to counseling and coaching. I am interested in helping you solve your life issues with a solution focused, here and now approach to therapy. I treat teenagers and adults and seniors, with all different types of issues, ranging from depression and anxiety, loss, handicaps and challenges, to marital , blended family/family conflict, bereavement and phase/changes of life issues.

I am skilled at using many current therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as well as Dialectical-Behavioral and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy to address your concerns. I have been trained in the highly successful Gottman model of couples and marital counseling. I also utilize narrative and solution-focused therapies. I address trauma, loss/grief, relationship, marital, family and phase of life issues. I also am certified in trauma based CBT.

I now practice using tele-therapy and phone. I have worked in many diverse settings , such as psychiatric emergency units/hospitals, residential, family service and schools. I was privileged to work with the Navy, Army and Coast Guard in providing therapeutic services . I have a excellent reputation as a therapist.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
