I am an individual and couple’s counselor, licensed in the State of Colorado. I received both my Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Counseling at Colorado Christian University before opening a private practice. In my years of working as a counselor, I have seen clients and couples with a wide array of presenting issues. Those issues include anxiety, depression, dysfunctional relationships, inability to communicate effectively, and so on. I have also worked with multiple clients that have experienced abuse and trauma and are suffering the symptoms left by those life experiences.

I believe the most effective counseling takes place in a collaborative, working relationship between the client and counselor. Mutual investment in the process is key to helping clients move forward in life, achieving the goals they set out to achieve in their counseling journey. My clients can expect me to be fully engaged with them, supporting and guiding them as we engage the topics that brought them to counseling. I do lean toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; however, I am flexible enough to use different modalities of treatment if a different modality would be most appropriate for my client.

It is a courageous endeavor to seek counseling and to work through our hurts, habits, and hang-ups. I will honor that courage by providing you with the counselor you need and deserve.

Todd has been so immensely helpful to me over the past 2 months of our sessions together. He was a great listener, made me feel very validated and comfortable sharing, educated me about how our brains work which helped me understand myself and my anxiety better, and gave me so many techniques and tools to use in my daily life to gain control of my cognitive distortions, negative thought patterns, and significantly reduce my anxiety.
