Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Amy has literally been God sent to me. I was matched with her during one of the lowest point in my life. Yet her unique experiences, knowledge and compassion is a powerful combination that was exactly what I needed. She has supported me with the big picture and the details. A pro through and through. 10 out of 10.

Amy Kelley is very professional, efficient and endearing. She provides quality insight via anecdotal or scientific examples that help someone like me understand exactly what’s going on in my brain. She doesn’t make me feel judged while providing necessary honesty and is a very effective communicator. I can highly recommend Amy Kelley, I will be continuing with her for the foreseeable future.

Amy Kelley was a very nice therapist. She always understood exactly what I needed to hear and her expertise on BPD was very outstanding. Despite me having to cancel therapy due to my own financial struggles, I really had no problem with Amy. She was a very nice extra voice to have over the phone who I could confide in and figure out what the heck was goin on in my brain.

Therapists need compassion, Amy has this. My biggest concern about better help was that it was online and not in person. So far this has not been an issue at all. I’m extremely grateful I’ve been paired up with Amy and I look forward to diving into the issues we’ve been discussing more and more. She’s a great therapist and you can tell she genuinely cares about you as the client and people in general. She has the empathy and compassion that creates the safe and comfortable space needed for therapy to thrive.

Amy is the first councillor that I have ever worked with and honestly with running the risk of sounding melodramatic, this experience has been life changing. Amy has a wonderful and approachable nature. She is warm and kind and so easy to speak to. It feels less like therapy and more like gaining incredible sage advice from an old friend. She has guided me to see my full potential, and has helped me change my mindset into one focuses on the positive in my life. She has enabled me to see what I want my life to look like and helped me realise that I have the ability to make that happen. I can not recommend this incredible human enough.

I have gone to therapy off and on for 30 years, depending on life situations. Amy is one of the only therapist that understood me right away, from day 1, and is revealing her gifts of experience, expertise, empathy, and vast knowledge for truly effective sessions. What I get done with Amy in 45 minutes is very powerful. I would recommend her highly!
