Evan is very caring, genuine and insightful in his guidance. He helped me through a dark time in my life and was able to offer ideas to shift my mindset towards my issues to navigate it to a better outcome for me. He even goes the extra mile to illustrate an image of an idea he wants to express regarding a challenge i’m facing. He’s amazing. Thank you Evan!

More about Evan

  • 9 years' experience

  • LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri, where I have been practicing for nine years as a therapist and consultant. I have worked with individuals struggling with traumatic experience, anxiety, attachment issues, parenting, relational conflict, identity recognition and expression, compassion fatigue, grief and loss, transition, and moving through general stress and life challenges.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and authentic. As human beings, we all live in the midst of our own stories and interact with the stories of others. As a therapist, I seek to listen, encourage, and help in finding the understanding, healing, and meaning that can come with our journeys. In my work with individuals I use a combination of cognitive behavioral, attachment-based , person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches to therapy. I believe in the innate and uninterruptible value of every person, and in the worthwhile pursuit to realize and proclaim that value.

I would like to encourage you to keep taking the steps you can to seek a more peaceful and freer life. If I can be a support to you in your journey there, it would be a great honor. I look forward to speaking with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
