I was hesitant to begin counseling and talk about my mental health but I’m so glad I did. I feel much more organized, relaxed and in touch with myself. I’m great full for the support, guidance and most of all the knew found knowledge I have about my mental health and tools I can use to guide me.

I am a special education teacher, school counselor and licensed therapist with 6 years of counseling experience. I love education and the quest for knowledge. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn something new. I have masters degrees in Special Education from the University of Virginia, and School Counseling/Professional Counseling from Montana State University Northern.

I have experience working with Bipolar Disorder, HPPD, trauma, depression, grief and anxiety. I attended the Transpersonal Psychology 50th anniversary conference in 2019. I have a person centered belief. I also have an extensive background in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavioral Therapy. In my therapy practice, I utilize talk therapy and workbook activities. I have an array of up to date workbooks with current researched based theory. I regularly attend conferences and online trainings to further my development as a counselor.

I enjoy being in the outdoors and in nature whenever possible. I am happiest when I am on my UTV with my 2 dogs and husband on top of a mountain somewhere in the middle of the wilderness. I am an avid wild crafter and plant identifier.

Seeking therapy can be a daunting challenge. I look forward to helping you navigate whatever obstacles in life come your way.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
