Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Easy to work with and understanding...
Ruth is absolutely wonderful to work with. I know a lot of people say that about their therapist's, but, Ruth has this amazing ability to talk to you in such a way that you forget she is a therapist; she speaks to you as if you were someone she cares about and that means so much. She never has a judgemental tone, never dismisses feelings that you have about something and always reminds you that you are free and safe to share anything and everything that you need to while you are talking with her. She establishes trust straight away and makes sure that you fully understand what her obligations are when it comes to talk about you harming yourself or others. I have had the absolute privilege of getting lucky each time I have reached out for help throughout my adult life in that I get matched with someone I click and feel comfortable with straight away. Ruth is just phenomenal in what she does; I recommend BetterHelp to my friends/family all the time!

I really feel heard and supported by Ruth. You can tell she truly cares for her patients and is committed to help however she can. I have not had the best experience with therapists so working with Ruth has been a breath of fresh air.
This service has been awesome! I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs it
Wonderful therapist!
Ruth has been great so far - only through 1 session but still! I feel supported and seen. Much better than the last option I was given. I’m looking forward to our next session
