I’ve had so many therapists throughout my life that i’ve lost count. Along my journey I found Gina, and in the first couple of minutes of our first session I connected with her more then i had any other therapist. She understands me in ways i’ve never been understood before. And most importantly she has never made me feel judged, she offers support and care through her own experiences. She goes above and beyond to give me the understanding and resources I need. 10 years from now I can definitely say she helped me shape myself into the best version I could possibly be. She’s more then a therapist, she’s a saving grace.

My name is Gina Cardines and I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida for 7 years and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas for 3 years. With a total of over 20 years experience in the mental health field and 7 years as a licensed therapist, I have experience in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, substance abuse, and PTSD. I also have experience working with survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, human trafficking, and other trauma, including those who have served in the military. During sessions, you can expect honesty and unconditional positive regard, with no need to worry about monitoring expressions of self, feelings, language, or reactions. Though I have a base in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, I tailor each session to meet the needs of the client, and utilize an eclectic approach with multiple modalities and interventions to create a safe space, free from judgment, to put each client at ease and help clients to engender genuine change in their lives. I look forward to walking with you on your journey.
I am able to see clients in both Florida and Texas, and I am available for video, phone, and chat sessions.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Gina is a great therapist. She ACTUALLY listens and helps you tremendously. I know that’s what a therapist does but in my experience that hasn’t always been the case. She is very knowledgeable & successful in many different methods of therapy. Everything isn’t one size fit all. If your looking for a new therapist or thinking about trying therapy you won’t regret it with her!
Gina has been the best part of therapy. I’m not sure if still be in it if not for her
Gina is Confident, noble and knows people by just asking the right questions. She doesn't judge and is good at following up with the correct task. Very nice diction and delivery. Good sense of humor and firm.
She is wonderful at what she does, her approach to counseling, her patience, her helpfulness to my needs for Therapy. She is great and I would recommend her to anyone
Gina is absolutely amazing!! She has changed my life in the short time I’ve known her! I would recommend her and therapy to anyone!! She listens so well and I can tell she knows what she’s doing. And more than that, she makes me feel like she really cares. I will forever be thankful for Gina and all she has done for me already!
