Rev. Schipul is an expert in her craft. She breaks things down so you really understand the “why” behind what you’re doing. I’ve never clicked so fast with a therapist. I would recommend her a thousand times over. She makes you feel so comfortable and never judged. She puts you in control of every session and teaches you how to basically become your own therapist! She’s the absolute best!

So far, I feel comfortable exposing my inner feelings and emotions. I think Rev. Shipul offers a safe, non judgmental environment to do that.

If you are looking for an eclectic therapist who truly listens with an open mind, creates meaningful dialogue with the intention of self exploration and has a large ‘toolbox’ with evidence-based resources, then I would be honored to be considered. Over the years I have discovered true emotional healing and a holistic view of Self come from creating bridges between the Mind (thoughts and habits), Body (feelings and intuitions) and Spirit (a person’s connection with something greater than themselves by Whatever Name). I feel the intentional life lived along with over15 years of therapeutic experience and 18 years as an ordained Interfaith Minister provides a well rounded background to guide Clients into a true balance of Mind, Body and Spirit. As a Pastoral Counselor and student of non-traditional spiritual wisdom from ancient and indigenous teachings to New Age or Thought practices, we can integrate your own spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process as needed or desired. The primary Therapeutic model I use is Internal Family Systems (IFS) and because of the extensive training received, I am considered an IFS Informed Therapist by the IFS Institute. Other primarytherapeutic tools used are, Mindfulness, Focusing, CBT, and Mindful Parenting.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Rev. Schipul was a pleasure to receive support from for the short time I was able to receive her services. She met me exactly where I was and gave me strategies that I could immediately put to use to help me respond rather than react to stressful situations in my personal and professional life. She is patient, warm, knowledgeable and shares useful resources. It was a pleasure.

Rev. Schipul has been my therapist since 2022. Since engaging in therapy, she has made me feel much lighter and she has given me the tools to process my thoughts and emotions and recognize day to day triggers. She has also helped me set appropriate boundaries. Her style allows me to freely discuss what is on my mind and she ensures I leave each session with takeaways and tools to improve my well-being.

Ellen is a warm hearted, conscientious person who understands what it means to have struggles, and that sometimes all we need is a shoulder to cry on, while other times we need to be aware of changes; she shifts gears as needed imperceptibly. Safe and strong support through good and bad times. She's like a hug!

Things are making sense to me in a new way and Rev. Schipul has already played an important role in that process.
