Hi, my name is Breo'na, my counseling style is welcoming, non-judgmental, and interactive. I firmly believe that people are experts regarding themselves and realize the importance of meeting individuals, as clients exactly where they are in life. My guiding technique is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the rationale of an individual’s cognitive beliefs and distorted thoughts as well as the combination of Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centered Therapy. I have experience working with clients that struggle with self-esteem, anxiety, and relationship issues.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Atlanta, Georgia. I am also a licensed in North Carolina as a clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC). I attended Wright State University located in Dayton, Ohio where I was born and raised. There I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2011) and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2014). I strive to make a positive impact on others, while guiding them to recognize their ability to become the person they desire to be, through any given circumstance, hardship, or experience. I have found that my work as a counselor for the past 9 years has allotted me the opportunity to do just that!
It should be said that there is never a dull moment in therapy with me, as I enjoy laughing, making others laugh, and creating an organic and relaxed environment for my clients.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Very nice and intuitive
I’ve been “graduated” from in-person therapy THREE TIMES before!!! But Bre sees everything that I can’t, and that three other trained professionals couldn’t see either. She pulls a whole therapy session out of one sentence I say. I’ve been with her for over a year and don’t have any intention of ever leaving!!!
Breo’na is very professional while also incredibly easy to talk to. I feel better after every session and look forward to speaking with her each week.
Breo’na is great.
Miss Troutman is so easy to talk too…i look forward to our sessions….she’s great.
She’s great!
She is amazing!!! I can’t imagine my life without her at this point. The growth I have experienced is tremendous and if you’re lucky enough to have her as your therapist you know exactly how I feel…. Thanks Bri
I am thankful for Breo’na and her expertise. She is a great therapist.
She is very helpful to me and it’s good for me to tell her about my situation.
Breo’na is exactly what I needed in a therapist. She taps into areas that I haven’t been able to talk with a therapist before. She is genuine, kind, knowledgeable, and provides self-growth tools that fit my preferences. Her style of therapy is just what I need!
Breo’na is amazing it has only been a few weeks and I am already feeling the uncomfortable burn of growth lol. I am looking forward to what happens for me!
Breo'na is extremely understanding, easy to talk to and very kind. She always takes time to check in at the start of every session. She even checks in via text throughout the week which has made me feel supported and cared for. She is also very funny and finds a way to make me laugh during most sessions which is important to me. It's clear that Breo'na pays close attention to people she works with and always has someone's their best interest at heart.
I give thanks for the work Breo'na does with explaining things and the home work she has me doing to better my self as a person that helps my learn more about my self and what I need to do as a person to grow and evolve.
Breo’na has been a great match for me. She speaks my language and we share the same faith so she is able to speak to me like an old friend and mentor and I’m able to really hear what I need to grow!
Bre is very inspirational and amazing at what she does. She definitely allowed me to go deeper within for the healing i needed. If your looking for someone who is truly passionate about what they do then Bre is the best.
Breo'na helped me process a difficult experience and taught me ways to stop feeding negative emotions and thoughts. I learned to reflect on my strengths and weaknesses with greater clarity and feel like I've made peace with past trauma, which has boosted my confidence and made my anxieties feel more manageable. I was hesitant to start therapy, but now I'm grateful that I did this for myself.
Breo'na is a Godsend! She listens so intently and asks the right questions that make me challenge myself. Which I love! She makes me feel heard and understood. She supports me regardless of what path I decide on. I never sense any judgment form her. After every meeting with Breo'na I feeling empowered and at easy about life.
Breo'na is an excellent Therapist. She does a great job listening carefully and waits until every thought has been stated before she responds. Her responses are also delivered in a way that is helpful and constructive. She also has a great sense of humor which I find comforting. I always look forward to every session with her.
Bre is the most caring and supportive therapist I've had. She truly listens, remembers what's going on in your life week to week, from the big events to the small minutiae. She pays attention and makes really strong connections and really perceptive observations. I couldn't recommend her more to anyone looking to learn more about self-love/acceptance/growth!
Bre is amazing and always knows how to redirect my thoughts into healthy ones. She’s very understanding and knowledgeable and is always there for support. I truly appreciate you Bre, thank you for helping me and for being supportive!
