Hello! I have over 25 years of experience as a social worker and since 2005 I have worked with adults who suffer with depression, bi-polar and schizophrenia. I strongly believe in a person's ability to change and if you are reading this, you have already made the first step. In a therapeutic relationship, rapport building, compassion and sensitivity are my strengths. We will work at your pace; however if a teachable moment appears, I will help you to learn and gain insight from it. A narrative approach and solution focus are modalities I prefer. Other work experience includes alcohol and drug abuse, codependence and trauma. There are many obstacles in life and there are also many opportunities for change.
