I am a Georgia licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working in an inpatient setting since 2016, treating men with substance use disorder. Working with individuals with substance use disorder has given me the opportunity to counsel individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, marriage and family relationship issues, as well as emotional and physical trauma.
I am a Christian counselor who uses a client centered approach that is compassionate and interactive towards all individuals regardless of religious beliefs. Empathy plays a large role in my approach towards clients. I believe that all clients should be given an empathetic ear and treated with respect and sensitivity. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is my main approach to therapy. I recognize that all individuals are unique and have specific needs. I work hard to customize each of my therapy sessions to meet the needs of each individual person.
Reaching out for help takes an enormous amount of courage; I want to congratulate you on your courage in taking the first steps to seeking a better and more fulfilling life. It is my desire as a therapist to help you set goals and empower you to reach those goals!
I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I’ve only spoke with Mark once and felt vey confident that immediately he was going to help me out with my situation

Mark is a great therapist who makes sure I know that he’s rooting for me and supportive of me. I feel very safe talking with him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a kind and caring therapist.
Mark has been very pleasant to work with. He has listened to all of my struggles and has helped me in more ways than one to progress. I plan to stay in therapy with mark as long as I am able. Thank you so much for all of your help.
Mark is great
Excellent, Supportive, Helpful, kept me on course.
I like the fact he is a Christian
Mark has helped me to see my growth and encourage me to meet myself in every season with grace, grit, and the belief that I’m not alone. I feel so accepted and heard. I am more confident knowing I have a therapist I can openly bring anything to.
I really struggled with coming to therapy and knowing I would have to speak about my pain to a stranger sounded unbearable because then it would be more real somehow. But I opened up to Mark and immediately felt like he was the compassionate voice I needed to hear this whole time. He’s kind and considerate. Affirms my experiences while reminding me gently what is from trauma and what is true to who I am. He helps me to feel safe to speak on anything and knowing I’m heard has given me the confidence I need to keep opening up. I have been so thankful I found Mark and have recommended all my friends to try to find someone to talk to because it has changed my mood and outlook on each week knowing I have him to check in with.
Mark is extremely insightful and is a great listener. Within the first few sessions he was able to identify issues that I have been subconsciously battling.
