More about Kari

My name is Kari Wright and I have been a licensed social worker for 13 years. First, let me say thank you for looking at my profile and also say congrats for the courage you have demonstrated in seeking support.

As a clinician, my goal is to walk alongside you as you share your life. I seek to provide a safe space so that you can begin to feel better. Formally, I tend to use cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. I have extensive experience with grief, loss, depression, and trauma, but also willing to explore any topic. I am comfortable working with adults and children. I am a clinician that's a Christian, but do not provide Christian counseling exclusively... I will NEVER attempt to talk about religion if you don't want to.

Informally, I strive to make sure I understand what your saying, provide validation, feedback, and explore different perspectives. Therapy is a partnership so it will take both of us to get this right. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.

I hope to speak with you soon.

Kindly

Kari

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
