Hello. I received my MS in Community Counseling from Gannon University in 2005. I've worked in in the mental health field since 2000. I am a trauma-trained therapist in TF-CBT and EMDR. I enjoy working with individuals with PTSD and C-PTSD, anxiety, and depression; abandonment and attachment from childhood. I am very outgoing/easy going, laid back, and enjoy laughter. I like to use of metaphors in sessions. I tailor my services to each individual client and their needs. I believe that each person is a unique gem that just needs to dust off or uncover their shine (worth), in a sometimes difficult situation.

Please remember that BetterHelp is not appropriate if you are in crisis or in immediate need of support. In crisis situations, please call 911 or local emergency services. You can also call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to talk to someone right away!

Therapy can provide a calm and safe setting for someone to begin the process of letting go the fears, pain, and demons of their pasts (or present). "Survive and thrive in the face of adversity; and remember to just breathe." I look forward to working with you on your unique counseling journey.

Please note that I am not available for evening appointments at this time. The time slots that I have potential openings for will vary each week and would typically be between 9-2pm EST. I personally schedule with people after contact as my schedule changes multiple times throughout the day.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
