I am a licensed clinical therapist with ten years of experience working with people from all walks of life dealing with a range of mental health challenges. Whether a problem is personal or interpersonal, involves family, school or private struggle, the way we react can make it better or worse. Effective therapy involves learning to recognize those moments where we can adjust our way of thinking about things, and choose a way to respond to challenges that makes things better. I have experience working with clients facing stage-of-life struggles with depression, anxiety, trauma and loss, as well as individuals dealing with the challenges of Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, OCD and Personality Disorder. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, goal-oriented and directive, and draws on Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral and Trauma-Based treatment methods in order to meet people where they are and develop an approach specific to each client’s needs.

I have a deep appreciation of the challenges faced by people of all ages in trying to maintain a sense of self in a world of endless images, messages and noise telling us what and where we should be in life. The first step is to set all that aside, take an inventory of strengths—and work outward from there with the goal of improving day-to-day functioning and building confidence in our ability to deal with all the challenges life can place in our path. If you’re ready to take that first step and move forward, I’m here to help.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
