I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing in the Social Work field since 2007. My experience in the field of Social Work has given me the opportunity to work with children and families, at-risk homeless youth, adolescent/adult behavioral health, and senior citizens. For the past 10 years, I have been working in an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed for senior citizens struggling with depression and anxiety, however I also have experience working with individuals facing marital/relationship issues, parenting issues, and loss.

As a therapist, I will work to uplift, encourage, and motivate you to find the best solutions for yourself. I strive to be a compassionate, caring, and understanding individual who will respect you for who you are, right where you are in your journey. My goal in this profession is to help you achieve the goals you create for yourself and provide you with the accountability you need to succeed.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Reviewed September 2022

Sara has been helping me since January and she's been such an incredible person of support. I've been going through some very traumatic things since last summer and she has been doing her best to get me to work past those experiences and move forward with my life. Still a work in progress but I truly feel that I wouldn't be where I'm at now if it wasn't for her to help me see things differently and trying to heal

Reviewed July 2022

She is a wonderful, caring person who is a great listener. Love her

Reviewed April 2022

Sara is extremely relatable and makes me feel comfortable to want to share with her. As a fellow mom, she understands the stresses I deal with on a day-to-day basis. She gives me tools and strategies to work through stressful and depressive times and holds me accountable to those. She often will circle back to make sure that I feel that my goals are being met. I feel like I'm talking to a good friend whenever I log on to talk to her.
