Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She was perfect for me! She helped me a lot!
Julie and I connect on so many levels. I am so grateful to have been paired together.
Julie is my cheerleader and my voice of reason. Her jokes and lighthearted demeanor ground me when my anxiety drifts skyward and her kind words and advice lift me up when I feel like I am sinking. I never thought I could be where I am now, from disappointed every night, to proud of accomplishments I never thought I had the confidence to chase. Julie intensely cares about her patients and if you have the opportunity to speak with her, I urge you to take it. I wish that everyone could have a therapist as compassionate and supportive as I do.
I love Julie, she is the companion that I was missing in my life. She is professional and I feel deeply hearand respected.
I'm so grateful I was matched with Julie. She has been very helpful when I've needed it most.
My experience so far with BetterHelp has been pretty solid. I really enjoy the flexibility of communication styles available to me.
Julie has shown me tools and guidance to help me in my journey. She listens and offers her insight. I’m grateful to have been matched up with her and look forward to future sessions. I referred my son and daughter in law to BetterHelp. I believe they were referred to an app called RegainUs. They’ve begun counseling as well.
Julie was my very first therapist ever and she made starting the process very easy. I started therapy for a completely different reason compared to what I ended up needing it for. I was very lucky to have Julie along for the crazy ride that became my life for a short while. She was a friendly face every week that never judged and always was a cheerleader in my corner. She took the time to read my long winded messages and journal entries and then would respond with a unique perspective. She also always made it clear that she could make herself available if I needed it or if there wasn’t a time slot that worked for me. After a few months of turbulent seas, finally the stormy waters of my life calmed and rebalanced, and both Julie and I thought I was ready to sail on my own again. I’ll always be thankful for her support and insights during a surprising and difficult time in my life.
Dr. Julie has helped me a lot so far, she helps me get to the root cause and helps me understand my responses. She also helps me find better ways to communicate that will help me and my partner navigate disagreements, since they are inevitable and her tips are always encouraging and giving hope to situations.
So far so good. She’s kind and listens, non judgmentally. I like that she offers activities between sessions.
Julie is an incredible woman and therapist. We have been talking for about 3 months now and I honestly wouldn't have gotten through everything without her help and support. We connected straight away and I felt so safe and supported by Julie. I'm usually very anxious talking to new people but Julie is amazing at making me feel at ease. She has a calm, soothing energy and genuinely cares about people. She's so thoughtful and has a great ability to help me see things I wouldn't have otherwise and helps me work through them. I thought I had gotten over a past abusive relationship but talking with Julie and going through everything made me realise that I wasn't and that things were holding me back because I hadn't truly worked through them. I'm happy to say that I've finally been able to forgive and find closure from that traumatic time. She's also been right by my side through every step of my ending my relationship with my long term boyfriend. She's helped me navigate through it in a way that is healthy and handled the best that I could have. She's given me the tools to really process my emotions throughout this and continue to work through it so that I can truly move forward and be better and more aware in the future. She builds me up all the time and reminds me how amazing I am and how my future is going to be so fulfilling. I honestly can't thank Julie enough. She's also hilarious as well! Her Irish accent is fab! We need more Julie's in the world!
Julie has been very understanding and kind, a welcome feeling after the recent situations in my life. She listens and provides great guidance, and I feel comfortable sharing with her despite it being my first time in therapy.
Working with Julie has been the breath of fresh air that I needed. She is a fountain of knowledge and shows no judgement. I would highly recommend her to anyone struggling with family issues
Just two sessions in, I am very happy with being matched up with Julie to talk through my issues. She has a very calm, natural and comforting manner that puts me at ease.
Thankyou so much Julie for working with me. Being new to therapy made me feel nervous but from the get go Julie was warm, thoughtful and understanding. She is the utmost professional and personable person. I cannot thank you enough.
She was so helpful right in the first session. She is a wonderful listener and very insightful.
