Greetings, I'm Maggie, a dedicated therapist with a passion for fostering personal growth and emotional well-being. With over a decade of experience as a social worker and three years as a therapist, my journey has been shaped by my own experiences with ADHD and Autism, guiding me to embrace a unique perspective in the realm of mental health.
Professional Journey:
For the past 11 years, I've dedicated myself to the field of social work, navigating the intricate web of human emotions, connections, and struggles. In the last three years, I've transitioned into the role of a therapist, drawing from my rich background to create a therapeutic environment that is understanding, inclusive, and free of judgment.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapy style is warm and interactive, aiming to create a safe space where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions openly. I firmly believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I reject the notion of stigmatizing labels, understanding that each person's journey is unique and deserving of personalized care.
Philosophy:
My approach is a harmonious blend of humanistic and solutions-focused therapy. I am committed to tailoring our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Acknowledging the importance of trauma-informed care, I work collaboratively with clients to understand and navigate the impact of past experiences, fostering a path towards healing and relief.
Beliefs:
I firmly believe in the power of human connection and the potential for growth within each individual. My goal is to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, utilizing evidence-based practices while maintaining a keen sensitivity to your personal narrative.
Collaborative Healing:
I view therapy as a partnership, a shared exploration where we work together to find relief and build resilience. Through open communication and mutual understanding, we'll embark on a journey that embraces your strengths and addresses challenges with a holistic and empowering mindset.
In our therapeutic space, diversity is celebrated, and individuality is honored. Let's embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth together, forging a path toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Maggie is top tier, she has helped me tackle every goal I have set and she's helped give me the tools I need to make my life better and even fun.
I’ve been seeing Maggie for I think 2 years now and it has been amazing. She has listened to all my concerns and helped me through it all. She has given me tools to work through things and the confidence to face some of my traumas I never thought I’d be able to. I can confidently say that without Maggie I would not still be here today. So thank you Maggie for all that you do for me. I appreciate you so much!
Very helpful and convenient
Love coming to therapy with Maggie!
Without Maggie, I wouldn't have to confidence and the trust I have for myself
Maggie has helped me grown and learn so much within the last year and a half that I've been with her. She's truly helped me bring out the best version of myself.
Maggie is a wonderful therapist and I’m so grateful to have been matched with her! She is the sixth counselor/therapist I have had and hands down the one I have connected with and benefited from most. Maggie is a great listener and has provided me with advice, perspectives, and tools that have truly helped me cope with anxiety, build self esteem, and live in a way that feels true to myself. I’m so grateful for her as well as Betterhelp for helping us find each other!
She is great
Maggie is an amazing person. When I started counseling back in January I didn’t know what to expect. I had just come out to my parents and so I had a lot going on in my world that was hard to process. I was worried it would be awkward and uncomfortable. Or that the counselor may judge me for being trans. Maggie made it extremely welcoming. From the start I was almost more comfortable then talking to my own friends. She’s encouraging, listens, and is pushy when it’s needed. My favorite part about Maggie is after every session she makes it a point to say she’s proud of me. That’s not something I ever got as a kid and it’s something that I now know I needed. I’m really glad Maggie is in my life cuz I don’t believe I would be as far along in my confidence about my transition with out her. So Maggie if you read this thank you for everything.
Offers many ways to utilize the entire appointment.
Maggie is great!!
Maggie's assistance with my relationship issues and insecurities has been beyond reproach. It is of benefit to share everything you are dealing with as she can understand where she can be of assistance. I have been extremely pleased with the help I have received. We all have issues to work on, be the conduit for becoming your best self, Maggie has helped with this for me.
Maggie is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly & down to earth. I know I'm lucky to call her my therapist. She's honestly made therapy easy for me; I feel like I'm talking to a super supportive friend who is also willing to give it to me straight. I don't feel overanalyzed, crazy or uneasy in any way - she makes me feel strong, empowered & decisive. I honestly cannot imagine having my therapy sessions with anyone else - & I love that I'm able to do it all online from the comfort of my own home!
I really like Maggie
