Steve has been great! From working with me on things that felt hugely important to little nuances of life, he always listened first and offered great advice second. I highly recommend him for young professionals working to sort out their lives or anyone who is at a crossroads and could use someone in their corner.

Hi, I am Stephen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience working with people who struggle with their relationships (including alternative relationships), parenting problems, career challenges, or have experienced trauma (physical or emotional), that you would like help working through. Helping people through therapy and coaching, improve their quality of life is my goal. I have significant experience working with issues related to adoption as well.
My approach is interactive, trauma informed, non-judgmental, and thoughtful. I believe in a client centered approach (you determine your goals and what you want to work on). Our sessions will be solution focused as we identify and build upon your strengths. We will work together to develop a plan that meets your needs.

About online counseling
- Affordable.
- Pay a low flat fee.
- Convenient.
- Do it at your own time and at your own pace. Communicate whenever you feel it's needed.
- Available now.
- There is no waiting list and no calls to make. Simply fill out a short questionnaire and send your first message.
Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I like him. He gets me. Easy to talk to.
Stephen is the best!!! He helped me when I was going through a really hard time after having a baby. He is thoughtful, kind, and gave me excellent advice. He’s a great guy!!
I’ve only had a couple of sessions but I do feel Mr Burke understands and can help me address my issues and achieve the goals set.
Steven has been a great resource for the meetings I’ve had with him. He asks questions that prompt lots of thought, listens carefully, and provides helpful connections and stories when reflecting. He cares a lot about the people he works with, and does everything with genuine interest. He’s been a great person to work with. I would highly recommend!
