Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Great work

Reviewed January 2025

I have been to a few different therapists over the last 30 years and I believe my sessions with Mitchell have been the most productive sessions I have ever had.

Reviewed December 2024

I'm extremely thankful that I chose Mitchell for my therapy. He is a fantastic listener and offers support and recommendations for anything that I bring up. I've sometimes just needed someone to help process what I'm going through and other times feel unsure of what I'm feeling or to do next and he adjusts his approach based on what's needed. Just thinking about how I was feeling earlier this year vs. how I feel now, it feels life changing for the better.

Mitch gives good feedback. It’s been good for me to layout my actual opinion of the characters in my life and to have an impartial ear reframe some of the madness. The navigation of the terminal illness of my spouse, the reuniting of her with her birth mom, the implosion of my wife’s family against me, my own parents overreach into the raising of my kids, the outright betrayals, and manipulation tactics, and burden of caregiving and parenting through absolute uncontrollable pressure. I know people say to me they’re a bit blown away by all the hits I’m taking and still standing. The objective insight from Mitch helps a lot.

Reviewed November 2024

Mitchell has taken the time to get to know me, takes what I want to work on to heart every week, and holds me accountable for my part in my therapy. I only wish I would have met Mitchell three years ago!

Caring

Reviewed July 2024

Mitch has been great. I appreciate his calm demeanor. I appreciate challenges to work on that help me be mindful throughout the week. I appreciate the way her reaches out to ask if there's anything that came up in between sessions. His is kind and patient and I feel seen and understood.

Mitchell is without a doubt a wonderful counselor. With an awesome skill set of communication, dependability, and relatability, he truly makes you feel heard and validated. He’s the therapist who actually checks up on you (sends weekly newsletters!), and doesn’t let a message go without a response. Always clarifying and giving examples if something doesn’t make sense, it is very obvious that Mitchell truly appreciates and cares about what he does and cares for his clients, while also maintaining a nonjudgmental space. Highly recommended! :)

Reviewed February 2024

Mitchell is so great! Exactly what I was looking for in a Christian counselor. He provides very helpful exercises and weekly newsletters. A very warm, welcoming, non-judgmental, but still effective therapist. What a blessing!

Reviewed January 2024

Mitch has been great to work with. Early into working with him, he helped me recognize that ADHD was something that I needed to be thinking about in relation to what I was trying to work on, and a follow up meeting with a psychiatrist confirmed this. He is very patient and works hard to understand where you're coming from. He strikes a good balance between keeping the sessions on track/ focused, and giving you space to side track in ways that are necessary to convey what's going through your head.

Reviewed January 2024

Very patient and understanding. Mitchell takes time to listen to you and gives you very good tools to improve your situation

Reviewed November 2023

Mitch was fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone!

Reviewed August 2023

Mitchell is good at working around my schedule which makes this process much easier. He responds to my messages within a reasonable time.

Reviewed February 2023

Mitchell is very nice and easy to talk to. However he is very flaky, inconsistent, and rather disrespectful with your time.

Reviewed February 2023

Nice person, lacks communication and commitment. The past two times that I've scheduled a session, it's been cancelled by the Therapist less than an hour before the initial session. I can only meet once a week and have been charged over $400 for not even two sessions. Looking elsewhere for help.

Reviewed January 2023

Mitchell combines compassionate listening with practical strategies for healing; every conversation with him is so empowering and affirming. In a year working with him, I have made a lot of progress on my mental health!

Mitchell has been very accommodating and willing to check in with me outside of our sessions. However, he is a little late sometimes to our meetings and cuts them short.

Reviewed September 2022

Mitchell was originally not what I thought I needed from a therapist, but his flexibility between compassion and telling you very gently when to put in the work is a very refreshing combination, it gives me comfort and confidence to go through any challenges in mg life.
