Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Great work
I have been to a few different therapists over the last 30 years and I believe my sessions with Mitchell have been the most productive sessions I have ever had.
I'm extremely thankful that I chose Mitchell for my therapy. He is a fantastic listener and offers support and recommendations for anything that I bring up. I've sometimes just needed someone to help process what I'm going through and other times feel unsure of what I'm feeling or to do next and he adjusts his approach based on what's needed. Just thinking about how I was feeling earlier this year vs. how I feel now, it feels life changing for the better.
Mitch gives good feedback. It’s been good for me to layout my actual opinion of the characters in my life and to have an impartial ear reframe some of the madness. The navigation of the terminal illness of my spouse, the reuniting of her with her birth mom, the implosion of my wife’s family against me, my own parents overreach into the raising of my kids, the outright betrayals, and manipulation tactics, and burden of caregiving and parenting through absolute uncontrollable pressure. I know people say to me they’re a bit blown away by all the hits I’m taking and still standing. The objective insight from Mitch helps a lot.
Mitchell has taken the time to get to know me, takes what I want to work on to heart every week, and holds me accountable for my part in my therapy. I only wish I would have met Mitchell three years ago!
Caring
Mitch has been great. I appreciate his calm demeanor. I appreciate challenges to work on that help me be mindful throughout the week. I appreciate the way her reaches out to ask if there's anything that came up in between sessions. His is kind and patient and I feel seen and understood.
Mitchell is without a doubt a wonderful counselor. With an awesome skill set of communication, dependability, and relatability, he truly makes you feel heard and validated. He’s the therapist who actually checks up on you (sends weekly newsletters!), and doesn’t let a message go without a response. Always clarifying and giving examples if something doesn’t make sense, it is very obvious that Mitchell truly appreciates and cares about what he does and cares for his clients, while also maintaining a nonjudgmental space. Highly recommended! :)
Mitchell is so great! Exactly what I was looking for in a Christian counselor. He provides very helpful exercises and weekly newsletters. A very warm, welcoming, non-judgmental, but still effective therapist. What a blessing!
Mitch has been great to work with. Early into working with him, he helped me recognize that ADHD was something that I needed to be thinking about in relation to what I was trying to work on, and a follow up meeting with a psychiatrist confirmed this. He is very patient and works hard to understand where you're coming from. He strikes a good balance between keeping the sessions on track/ focused, and giving you space to side track in ways that are necessary to convey what's going through your head.
Very patient and understanding. Mitchell takes time to listen to you and gives you very good tools to improve your situation
Mitch was fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone!
Mitchell is good at working around my schedule which makes this process much easier. He responds to my messages within a reasonable time.
Mitchell is very nice and easy to talk to. However he is very flaky, inconsistent, and rather disrespectful with your time.
Nice person, lacks communication and commitment. The past two times that I've scheduled a session, it's been cancelled by the Therapist less than an hour before the initial session. I can only meet once a week and have been charged over $400 for not even two sessions. Looking elsewhere for help.
Mitchell combines compassionate listening with practical strategies for healing; every conversation with him is so empowering and affirming. In a year working with him, I have made a lot of progress on my mental health!
Mitchell Daas I have dealt with a lot of therapists at Better Help but I have not found anyone who really helps from his heart someone really want you to get Improve and go forward and be you I really appreciate his kindness his loyalty to his work and. His client , every time I stuck in my life he push me and make me really think about what should Ido to get better by my self he ask a good question to let you thinking and he is a good listener to what am say even if It’s silly or he already know it 100 time I highly recommend him andI wish him success in his life because he deserves it
Mitchell is an awesome therapist. Every time we meet, he assesses my current challenge and then provides me with tools to address it. When we meet regularly, I hold myself accountable to do my homework!
I think he has been terrific so far! Feel real positive to have him apart of my therapy journey!
I greatly appreciate Mitchell. He has a very calm and trusting demeanor that makes him easy to talk to which makes opening up that much easier.
Mitchell helped me a lot. I faced a lot of difficulties. He listens to me without judgment. I always find the answer I need. I feel so much better. I thank him very much and am grateful for my treatment Journey with him.
Mitchell has been very accommodating and willing to check in with me outside of our sessions. However, he is a little late sometimes to our meetings and cuts them short.
Mitchell was originally not what I thought I needed from a therapist, but his flexibility between compassion and telling you very gently when to put in the work is a very refreshing combination, it gives me comfort and confidence to go through any challenges in mg life.
Very calm, listens well and does not over-react to normal human mistakes.
He's very patient and listens so well. When I bring something up, he always has an answer or possible solutions to try. He's also very kind and caring. I'm thankful for his help.
Mitch is really good at seeing past my emotions to the root issues we are dealing with. He pushes me but not too much. 10/10 would recommend.
Mitchell is personable and professional.
For the first time in a while, it feels like someone is truly listening to how I feel and trying to understand how my brain works and help me understand it myself. Even when it's difficult for me to express what is happening emotionally, I appreciate the empathy and patience while I get there.
Mitchell is attentive, supportive and so helpful. He works so hard to try and find what works best for me! Thank you!
Good first session
Soft. Messy. Good listener. Sweet guy but not very professional.
Mitchell is such a generous listener and is very knowledgeable about body-based treatments for anxiety, which is something I was really looking for. I'm impressed that BetterHelp did such a good job matching me so quickly to a therapist that can meet me where I am at and help me continue healing.
