I have worked with Cicely for almost a year. I was having increased symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD from unresolved trauma. I had difficulty with daily living. Cicely is an excellent listener and highly skilled at gently reigning me back when my ADHD brain gets lost. Cicely is a very compassionate, kind, and sincere human being. She has truly helped me to get "unstuck." I am so grateful to have been matched with her as a therapist! I highly recommend Cicely Alvis. She is the best!!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I really enjoyed working with Cicely. She was professional and very helpful. I felt very comfortable with her and would highly recommend her to anyone.
Cicely is wonderful. I have seen a few therapists over the years and when I found her I knew after just a couple of sessions that she was the right one for me. I love how I can talk to her like a close friend, there’s no stuffy formalities and she listens then gives me helpful strategies to work though what I can. She gives great tools for PTSD symptoms, grief coping, abuse trauma, and cognitive dissonance. I have experienced so much healing in my first year of therapy with her. I can’t recommend her enough!
she is awesome
Cicely is extraordinary in her therapeutic approach. She really goes with whatever I am feeling during a session and gives me strategies to help cope with whatever is happening in my life.
Cicely is a caring, understanding therapist, who gives you a lot of tools to work with. 4.9 stars
Cicely is incredibly easy to talk to. Her warm, calm, and reassuring demeanor creates a sense of safety when speaking with her. She skillfully lets me guide my own healing while supporting me completely with words of encouragement and validation, and with new tools I can consider applying. She listens well, and pivots gracefully if I express that an idea or tool isn’t resonating. I thought therapy would be an uncomfortable experience, but she’s made it so much easier than I expected and I am very grateful to her expertise.
