More about Meredith
- 15 years' experience

- Psychologist
I am a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with the cancer community, grief and loss, as well as providing empowerment and support to those looking to make intentional progress towards life / career goals.
As a cancer survivor myself, adjusting to a diagnosis and treatment can be difficult. Not only are their physical side effects, but often emotional and relational effects as well. Additionally, grief and/or loss is difficult. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, as grief is unique to each individual. All too often do many suffer in silence. If you are looking for support to help navigate the waters, I can help.
I also enjoy assisting individuals with setting intentions and making forward steps to meeting their goals. If you are looking for a change, but are not sure where to start, I can also help you organize your efforts, provide resources, relieve stress, ease tension and afford a safe space to problem solve through education, cognitive behavioral techniques, motivation and humor. My clients receive education and training in mindfulness skills, relaxation practices, decision-making, mood management, and interpersonal effectiveness. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
