Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Overall rating:
It is always a pleasure to work with Lorie.
Lorie has helped me through some really dark times this year. I don’t know what I would have done without her. She is responsive and caring,. She has taught me so much! I’m very thankful she’s my therapist.
Lorie has made me comfortable talking about things I would never have talked about before. She answers me quickly and her suggestions for things to do have been such a huge help to me. I’m so glad I was partnered with Lorie.
If I had to give Lorie a rating from 1-10, I would give her a 20! She really made me feel like she listened to me, understood what I was going through, and didn’t make me feel like im crazy, I’m too much, annoying, or that I was being judged. I have tried different therapists but I think their way of doing things didn’t connect with me or help improve my issues. Lorie has really helped me with my negative thoughts, feelings, insecurities, and social anxiety. Her techniques, exercises, and advice have helped me which I am grateful for. I’ve had social anxiety for as long as I can remember, we are taking baby steps to not overwhelm me and I am doing much better. I know this isn’t an overnight fix but I am better than ever been. I’m grateful and thankful I found you Lorie, thank you for helping me.
