I immediately matched with Mitchell. He always knows how to get to the core of your emotions and how your life situations relate to each other. He is very attentive and remembers everything you've talked about. He will always re-schedule or work around your schedule to help make a session happen. He helped me thru a tough time. You can tell he has years of experience. If I come back to this service, I am requesting him again. Thank you, Mitch!

  • LCSW

I am a psychotherapist licensed in New Jersey and New York with over 30 years of experience working with adult individuals. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and effects of trauma. I have been able to help many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked with first responders, survivors of the World Trade Center attack and combat veterans.

My therapy style is interactive and validating. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and empathy, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and integrative psychotherapy. You and I will tailor our interaction and specific treatment plan to meet your unique needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I offer my support in your journey.

I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
