I was scared of therapy before I joined, and then I met Malissa and everything changed for the better. I have been with Malissa for exactly 1 year. She changed my life, and I am so grateful to have met someone who is best suited for me here! A caring person who is not biased and really helped me work through my own issues that I was nervous to face. She is amazing!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I was lost even with the other therapist I was using. But with Malissa I have already had a couple breakthroughs.

I started seeing Malissa in March, It's now July and she has helped me so much. I trust her expertise, and what she tells me. She got me to understand myself more and trust the process of life. I deal with anxiety, jealousy and silly scenarios that are not real. She has started to make me feel a little more grounded but the steps are not easy. It sure does help having her guide me in the right direction because only I can actually do the leg work, she has helped me to get there. She's amazing, and I couldn't imagine not having her as my therapist.

Malissa is a wonderful, bubbly therapist and always brightens my day no matter how distressed I am feeling. She is able to intelligently and tactfully frame things and help gain valuable outsider’s perspective on things. A wonderful therapist !

Prior to working with Malissa i tried two other therapists on this platform and was very frustrated with my experiences. Malissa has not only made up for their shortcomings in a short amount of time but she has made me forget about those experiences entirely because she is so amazing. She is genuinely interested in helping you and will provide a very keen insight into your day to day life. After speaking with her a few minutes you can tell she is very experienced and well versed in this field. I only wish I was matched with her sooner. Her personality shines and it honestly feels like I’m chatting with a friend not a therapist. Despite what daily issues may be bothering me i always enjoy our conversations because she makes therapy fun!

Malissa is the sweetest therapist ever. Not only is she trying to make you feel comfortable, she points out stuff you don't realize you say and then helps you get to the root of the problem. I have and still am dealing with Anxiety but she has taught me steps on how to apply it to my everyday life. It's not an easy journey but it helps having a therapist be in your corner. I accidently clicked the disagree button when i meant to click agree because she's the best and she really is helping me improve to a better place mentally. None of this is easy but with time and practice, it gets easier.

Malissa is a bubbly yet deeply insightful therapist who is the cheerleader and accountability coach I didn’t even know I needed. She is reassuring, hashes out your thoughts, and responds to messages in a thoughtful, compassionate manner. She has helped me so much in such a short amount of time !
