Really glad I signed up with him; Nat has been helping me through one of the toughest times in my life. He doesn't just tell me what I want to hear - he makes me work - but that's what I'm here for. I have made really good progress with his counsel.

My approach to therapy follows a simple format delivered with the utmost respect and enthusiasm. I must earn your trust. This is supposed to help you. My communication style is generally void of jargon, colloquialisms or "psychobabble".
Initially some mutual understanding of the problem must be established. Definition fosters clarity; clarity strengthens meaning;
meaning empowers solutions. The goal is for both of us to understand more fully just what it is about your situation that makes it a problem. For many this discussion alone brings a bit of relief. It feels good to be heard and understood.
Next is the process of generating effective solutions. Some will discover that the hard work of therapy begins here. One starts to seriously consider what they must do to ameliorate that problem that we began to understand earlier.
Then we choose our course of action. This is difficult. I will help you. We will make a plan. We execute the plan. Did it help? Yes, then what do we do next? No, then we decide which previous step we need to refine. There may have been a problem we failed to identify sooner. We have learned something important though.
The techniques used are time honored and supported by research and experience. There is a vast amount of resources to explore. Or we make new ones.
I received my education from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I spent over 20 years in an in-patient facility in Texas as an Associate Clinical Psychologist. I have served as therapist to individuals from diverse backgrounds and with unique challenges. Some of the people I have worked with, in an alliance to make their lives at the very least tolerable, are among the coolest and most admirable humans I have ever known. I owe them a lot for the skills I bring here.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Nat has been a great listener and even better therapist. He maintains a level of care, while still being a professional, that I truly appreciate. Having someone willing to hear your past and still help you plan your future is something everyone should experience. Don’t lose hope. There’s a lot of wonderful people out there if you’re willing to look. Nat is definitely one of them :)
Patient listener, but also constructive with the session flow. Nat helps me establish the goal of every session, and keeps me moving toward it even if I forget. I've had many small victories already and I'm only at the beginning. I feel confident in his guidance because he is able to help me look through the fog and find my own way.
Nat is extremely helpful and eye-opening. He is very down to earth and offers real help. He challenges you to think and understand your problem.10/10 recommend him.
He is infact the person/Dr Who Has Been Able To Help Break Open And Get Through To Me not Only By Information Provided to him, But By Way Of His Wisdom Gained Theough Experience And I Honestly Have Not Came Across A Mental Health Profressional Who Has been able To Identify my need But Also Communicate with me at an eye to eye level and Continue to support me in further Addressing My Mental Health Needs. He Understands In Many Levels Even Though communication Has Only been Made In Such Short Time. He Is the perfect example of what a mental Health Provider should be and the standard of care that should be provided
