Nothing is more rewarding than helping people acknowledge and utilize their natural capacity to heal, survive, overcome, and thrive. The therapy hour typically feels less like a chore and more like having a genuine, present experience where clients have the space to show up exactly as they are and be themselves. We all deserve the time and energy it takes to have a deep and meaningful relationship with ourselves, and it is my privilege to sit alongside my clients as they do this important work.

When I work with clients, I like to create a safe, judgment-free zone where the client feels comfortable talking about anything and everything. I am an empathic, warm, and open-minded person. I like to create a space where clients come in and discuss whatever they want without fear or pressure. I use a combination of therapeutic modalities, such as psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered. I will recommend coping skills or practice work assignments that clients can do outside of our sessions as needed. I have supported people through anxiety, depression, mood instability, life transitions, domestic violence, day-to-day stressors, and many other concerns. I work toward gaining the client's trust so they feel that I am a professional support here for them to work through any of the life stressors that they may be facing. I also emphasize creating a more balanced life by helping clients discover what self-care practices work for them.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
