Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Valerie does not judge me nor assumes that I should know the answers. She provides exercises that clearly defines barriers, demonstrates barriers, and allows responses to practice overcoming the barriers. She encourages me and response to journal entries and questions in a timely manner. Thank you for your dedication and compassion towards me. God bless you.
Valerie has a deep reservoir of wisdom and is very supportive & encouraging during tough moments. I appreciate that she responds quickly to every message & offers a variety of options which helps to break me out of the tunnel vision-is-the-only-way mentality. I like that I can approach the discussion from my Christian perspective without fear.
Starting therapy with Mrs. Duke is the BEST thing I have done for myself in quite a while! My life was always pretty drama fee up until this year and the chaos and stress overwhelmed me...I didn't know how to handle it! Valerie has helped me work through my issues, taught me how to set boundaries and lets me know that life will be OK!
Valerie is reassuring and full of ideas for how to proceed with my recovery. I feel we have a good rapport and am very comfortable talking with her.
I have been seeing Miss Valerie for 8 sessions (2 months), and she has been SO helpful to me. She is an excellent listener. Personally, I told her I wanted to be counseled from a Christian perspective, and she has been so helpful, allowing me to make decisions grounded in faith. She has helped me to work through my addictive behavior when it comes to alcohol, providing worksheets and asking for feedback on whether or not I feel they help. She has encouraged me to work through issues I am having with my relationship and allows me to come to my own conclusions without pushing an opinion on what I should do. I have really enjoyed her as a counselor, and I highly recommend trusting her with all of your hardest details.
I have had two sessions so far with Valerie I highly recommend her. She listens two me and gives me great advice to help with the anxiety and depression I've been dealing with. Very easy to talk to and understanding.
Valerie is a great listener. She had a lot of suggestions for me to try.

Very kind, non judgemental and provides guidance.
She's amazing, very helpful, and insightful!
Valerie has been wonderful to work with. She is helping me sort out my stressors and walking me through ways to cope. Valerie is punctual and respectful when I share personal details about my life. I’m very happy I was paired with her!
Mrs. Pinkney-Duke is one of the best therapist I’ve worked with. She is very efficient, a good listener, and provides solid applicable advice. There are a lot of counselors out there that have either good personalities, and some who manage by being aware of their job duties/ responsibilities. Mrs. Pickney-Duke is a rare breed of counselor that has both and that makes her exceptional at her job. I am sad to be leaving the state and losing the opportunity to work with her. I was only able to afford this because I got a free month trial, but I would recommend both the site and Mrs. Pinkney-Duke to anyone looking for help.
