I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Wisconsin and in South Carolina. I am also awaiting approval of an application through endorsement with North Carolina Board of Licensing for Counselors.
Over the years I have been successful in working in the fields of mental health and addiction with the use of a variety of approaches and theoretical backgrounds. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare. I spent one year studying the dynamics of international and domestic adoptions. During this time I was appointed a Public Member to the State of Wisconsin Special Committee on Adoption where I served for one year. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, Wisconsin in 2005.
My treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Most recently I completed training as a Certified Nutritional Mental Health Counselor.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
