Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I started meeting with Anita when I was desperate and hopeless, and she always gave me a reason to smile, which was so important! She would send me resources outside of our sessions that were helpful in everyday life when it came to managing my anxiety and conquering my fears. Great experience

Aug 2022

I started working with Anita at a time when experiencing extreme situational anxiety from the overwhelm of life transformations and personal beliefs. She helped me find balance in my life over about 4 months of weekly sessions. Anita was always very genuine and I felt comfortable discussing my thoughts and concerns with her. During our sessions she provided insightful feedback that continue to stick with me in day to day life. I really appreciate her willingness to check in on me in between sessions and the genuine conversations we were able to have during live sessions. With her support and my willingness to change I’m now at a place where I am happy with my life and the balance I’ve found. Thanks Anita!
