Hi! My name is Kristi, I am a Certified Addiction Practitioner (CAP) and License Professional Counselor (LPC) living in Wyoming. I offer individual, couples/marriage, and family therapy. I have had the privilege of working in the field of substance abuse and mental health counseling for over 15 years. I have worked in various settings over those 15 years, giving me a great deal of training and knowledge in many different types of treatments and approaches. I provide counseling services for individuals facing life challenges with addiction, codependency, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD, Bipolar Disorders, couples/marriage conflict, and families living with addiction. I have over 8 years of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Exposure therapy, both used for the treatment of PTSD. Some may ask if EMDR can be done through an online approach, well the answer is "yes," it can be. My therapeutic lens or therapeutic style tends to be solution focused and strength based, I want individuals to understands their own personal abilities and then work on how to utilize those abilities in the best ways possible.
Seeking help can be very difficult, I would like to help in any way I can. My goal is to make the therapeutic process helpful, positive, and life changing. Everyone deserves individualized patient focused support.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
