More about Georgia

  • 20 years' experience
  • Female
  • LPCC

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky with over 20 years of experience working with individuals (adults and adolescents) making positive changes in their lives. I have worked with people challenged by depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, abuse and life-changing situations.

My counseling style is interactive, empathetic, and warm. I believe listening is the key to success in a therapeutic relationship and every client I am blessed to serve will feel heard. My approach is client-centered, solution-focused and strengths-based drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am holistic in my approach, integrating the mind and body connection and encourage my clients to consider these connections in their daily lives in order to enhance health and wholeness.

When working with clients, I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful and safe. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the issues that challenge you.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward making positive changes. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
