I am a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 20+ years of professional experience across a variety of treatment settings including individual counseling, crisis intervention, medical social work, and both inpatient and outpatient programs, I’m certified in alcohol and drug abuse treatment. I have taught several courses at the University of Utah in the college of social work, where I spent 10+ years working in Higher Education, providing, individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as supervision to interns and professionals.

I believe in a person-centered approach and meeting you where you are. I provide a non-judgmental, patient, supportive, and mutually respectful environment where the priority is to provide a welcoming space where each individual can focus on goals, wellness, and address unexpected life stressors.

During my spare time, I can be found goofing off and exploring both near and far places with family and pets. I’m open to learning and new challenges

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
