Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Wonderful

Jan 2024

Dr. Hackley is very understanding, thought provoking, and great at making therapy feel like friends just chatting. She is good at asking deep questions and letting you try to talk them out or direct your thoughts when unsure on how to answer. As a first timer, I immediately felt very comfortable with her and would recommend her to anybody.

Dr. Hackley makes me feel cared for and valued. She takes a sincere interest in me and and my needs and is able to gently provide guidance on how to help me meet my needs. I love that she takes the time to respond to any journal entries I make and provides meaningful insight in her responses. She is so friendly and such a wonderful listener.
