Betsy is amazing. She has made my time on BetterHelp enjoyable even through the hard conversations we have. She asks me questions, and also listens when I bring my concerns to the conversation. She challenges me to think about my week ahead and follows up the next week. She makes me feel heard and appreciated. She allows me to banter and explain my thoughts in a way unique to myself. I would recommend Betsy to anyone, and I'm so glad to have had her as my therapist while using BetterHelp to supplement my therapy while I work out some insurance issues.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Betsy is kind and caring very easy to talk to she has been my first experience with a real therapist. I personally don't think I could have gotten a better one she listens but also challenges me to think also, I love the assignments she gives I can understand the ways that they are helpful and doing them usually leaves me feeling better than I did before. Only think negative I can say is that we are only able to have 45 minutes to talk because I look forward to each session I would recommend her to anybody. She has made therapy fun while also being a healing and safe place.
She’s awesome
