I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee with over 20 years of experience in the therapy field. I enjoy working with clients of all ages of 18-35 who need help navigating this obstacle course we call life when it presents with such issues as depression anxiety, anger, behavior problems, grief, stress, relational conflicts, and traumatic events. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Solution-Focused; Strength Based; and Motivational Interviewing to create a special individualize plan to meet the clients' needs.

I believe the first step in the healing process for any issue is to be "heard" and have someone to listen to you. I provide a safe place for individuals to speak and begin the healing process. My goal is to provide a warm nuturing and accepting environment that meets the client where they are at.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space. Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
