As your therapist, it’s my job to meet you where you’re at. What are you hoping to get out of therapy? As your therapist we will work together towards your goals. Whether you’ve been in therapy for years or this is your first session, we will work together to figure out what will be most beneficial. Therapy sessions can look a variety of ways. Maybe it’s processing a recent trauma, other times identifying and breaking unhealthy patterns. Our sessions will be a safe space where we can learn more coping skills, build a better relationship with yourself and your body, figure out effective tactics for managing stress and anxiety, and explore your identity.
I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my work with clients. I work with many clients are coping with histories of complex trauma, Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Depression, Anxiety, and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Lauren. She’s helpful and not judgmental at all. I found it incredibly refreshing to have a person I could talk to who would offer nothing but helpful strategies and understanding when others in my life didn’t even try to consider my experiences.
Lauren is fantastic, really listens to me and provides the perfect balance between empathising with my issues and giving me the tools to improve them. Really happy with how things are going and would really recommend her.
