Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Danielle Williams has been very comforting and supportive while helping me see things that I’m internally struggling with, that I didn’t even realize was there. With just 2 sessions, I feel like she has helped me be equipped with tools to better myself and opened my mind to see things in a prospective I did not see before.

I'm grateful to have come across communicating with Danielle because she listens and she suggests solutions. She doesn't judge me. I feel i can openly talk to her about anything and everything. She's more like an older sister to me :).

Danielle has been very understanding and sympathetic to me. She helps me rationalize my thoughts so I don't feel like I'm going crazy. She's always there when I need to talk. There's no ego that gets in the way, but she definitely has a lot of experience in a lot of vastly different fields. I was very surprised at her knowledge on plenty of obscure topics. And if there's something she isn't familiar with, she will research it for you.

Danielle has been a tremendous help to me. She helped get me through some very tough challenges with a sabotaging co-worker. When challenges re-occur, she is the one I am comfortable reaching out to. She gives me tools to use at work and to cope with the anxiety it causes me. I could not recommend her more.

Reviewed November 2022

Danielle is empathic and perceptive. I'm consistently impressed with the breadth of knowledge and expertise she is able to draw on in the moment during live sessions and in feedback through messaging. She also responds to messages promptly and thoroughly. She gives homework targeted to my needs, and all the journaling helps me to process my emotions and to stay focused on my goals. I feel more supported in this experience with her than I ever have through traditional weekly in person therapy.

Reviewed August 2022

The most thorough, thoughtful, and constructive (helpful in coming up with solutions to my problems) counsellor I have ever had. I can tell how much she truly cares and wants to help. Also the most affordable counselling services especially as a student.

Reviewed July 2022

Dr. Williams takes the time to read through even lengthy messages describing your struggle, and picks up every point there to find out what I'm struggling with and provides ways to counter the struggle. I feel extremely empowered by her advice and methods, and feel that I'm finally breaking through various issues that I've struggled with for years.
